Dual Modular Safety Shutoff Valves DMV-D(LE)/11 Series

The Dungs Dual Modular Valve (DMV) combines two safety shutoff valves in one compact housing, which can be wired independently or in parallel.

Valve 1 (V1) of the DMV-D and DMV-DLE series is fast opening and fast closing.  Valve 2 (V2) of the DMV-D is fast opening, while V2 of the DMV-DLE is slow-opening for smoother light-off.  Max. flow adjustment on V1 provides variable main flow on both models.

Applications:  The Dungs DMV is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications that require two safety shutoff valves.  The DMV Dual Modular Valve is suitable for dry natural gas, propane, butane, air and other inert gases.  Suitable for up to 0.1% by volume, dry H2S.

A “dry” gas has a dew point lower than +15° F and its relative humidity is less than 60%.

The Two-Stage Dual Modular Valve DMV-ZR/612 series combines two safety shutoff valves in one compact housing.  Valve 2 incorporates two stages which can be set at two different firing rates.  Both firing rates are field adjustable and can modulate from high to low during burner operation.  Valve 1 (V1) of the DMV-ZRD and DMV-ZRDLE series is fast opening and fast closing.  Valve 2 (V2) of the DMV-ZRD is fast opening while V2 of the DMV-ZRDLE is slow-opening for smoother light-off.  Max. flow adjustment on V2 provides variable main flow on both models.

The Dual Modular Valves with Vent Line Adapter (DMV-VLA) combines two safety shutoff valves in one compact housing with a factory installed vent line connection between the two safety valves.

DMV-D series contain two fast opening and fast closing safety shutoff valves, and max. flow adjustment to vary the flow.

DMV-DLE series have an extra feature.  Valve two is a slow-opening valve.

DMV valves ending /622, /624L and /612 have proof of closure.

DMV valves ending in L are rated as NEMA Type 4.

DMV ZR series valves have two stage operation.

AA-A2-4… differential pressure switches are suitable for making and/or breaking a circuit when the medium pressure changes relative to the set point.  AA-A2-4… versions feature hose connections.

The GAO-, GMH- and GML-A2… pressure switches are compact, vent-less gas pressure switches for modular valve train components.  These pressure switches are suitable for making and/or breaking a circuit when the medium pressure changes relative to the set point.  The set point can be set in the field by an adjustable dial with an integrated scale.  The switches incorporate a vent limiter as per UL 353 and limits the escape of gas less than 1.0 CFH of natural gas at 7 PSI if internal switch diaphragm ruptures.
